SMDEP: Living & Finances

Stipends are designed to support scholars throughout the six weeks at SMDEP. Each program site determines the amount given based on local factors such as cost of living, whether or not meals or travel are included, etc. Even though amounts vary among program sites, the stipend allowance given to each scholar is adequate to support them with their day-to-day living expenses during the six weeks attending the program.

Stipend amounts and distribution schedules will be outlined in the program acceptance materials
